Hi! We're Chris, Sonia, Foxie & Alan. We wanted to share why we created this service and how we're different from our competitors.
It's a common struggle for us personally - our beloved doggies needing urgent grooming or care when we're away, only to find that existing pet service platforms charge hefty booking fees. This means you pay more, while providers either have to increase their rates to cover these costs or receive less for their valuable services.
Our Mission
We wanted to flip that on its head - take absolutely zero booking fees across the board, ultimately reducing the cost of pet services across the UK and providing a more affordable experience for all.
“How are you running the site with no financial income?” you ask? Value-added services! We offer these to pet service providers who need help running their businesses - allowing them to manage invoicing, expenses, have their own websites with booking processes, and many more exciting features to come!

Me and My Doggy connects dog owners with trusted, DBS-verified pet sitters for dog walking, boarding, daycare, and home visits. Unlike other platforms, we charge no per-booking fee at all — not to owners, not to sitters.
How do I find a dog sitter near me?
Simply enter your postcode or city in our search bar to find verified dog sitters in your area. You can filter by service type (walking, boarding, daycare), price, ratings, and specific requirements. All our sitters are DBS-checked and many are insured.
Are there really no booking fees?
Yes — for owners and sitters. You pay only what the sitter charges, nothing added on top; the sitter keeps the full booking amount. We fund the platform through a sitter subscription, not a cut of any booking. If you pay by card, your payment provider's standard card-processing fee still applies, same as anywhere else you pay by card.
How are dog sitters verified?
All our sitters can opt for DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) verification. We display verified badges for background checks, insurance, and experience. You can also read reviews from other dog owners to make an informed choice.
